Akilaris was founded on the belief that the orbital economy only works if space stays safe. We build AI-powered space intelligence and collision avoidance that lets satellite operators act in minutes, not days. Joining Akilaris means joining a small, fast team in Bremen, Europe’s City of Space, where your work ships to real operators and directly protects real assets in orbit.

This internship is a full-immersion program: you join live deals, own a market segment end-to-end and leave with a portfolio of real commercial work in the space sector.

Responsibilities

  • Own the mapping of one market segment (e.g. LEO constellation operators or European institutional programs) end-to-end
  • Build target lists, draft outreach and support qualification calls
  • Prepare partner and customer meetings, including materials and follow-ups
  • Support event presence (booth, demos, lead capture) at space industry fairs
  • Deliver a final market report with recommendations that we will actually use

Basic Qualifications

  • Studying business, engineering, aerospace or a related field (Bachelor or Master)
  • Available full-time for 3–6 months (mandatory internships welcome)
  • Fluent English; German is a plus

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Previous internship in sales, consulting or a startup
  • Genuine interest in space and the new orbital economy
  • Self-starter attitude: you ask for forgiveness, not permission, and communicate clearly

Additional Requirements

  • Internship compensated according to German internship regulations
  • Based in Bremen for the internship period (we help with practicalities)
