Business Development Working Student
Working Student · Part-time
Akilaris was founded on the belief that the orbital economy only works if space stays safe. We build AI-powered space intelligence and collision avoidance that lets satellite operators act in minutes, not days. Joining Akilaris means joining a small, fast team in Bremen, Europe’s City of Space, where your work ships to real operators and directly protects real assets in orbit.
As Werkstudent:in in Business Development you work directly with the founders on real opportunities: researching operators, preparing account briefings, supporting outreach and keeping the CRM sharp. You will see how space deals actually get done.
Responsibilities
- Research and map satellite operators, agencies and primes into actionable target lists
- Prepare account briefings, market analyses and competitor snapshots for founder-led deals
- Support outbound campaigns and follow-ups; keep CRM data clean and actionable
- Help prepare meetings, demos and industry events, and join us there
- Track European space programs and funding calls relevant to our pipeline
Basic Qualifications
- Enrolled in business, economics, industrial engineering, aerospace or a related program
- Strong written and spoken English; German is a plus
- Structured, reliable, comfortable with ambiguity

- Interest in the space industry and willingness to learn its landscape fast
- Confident with spreadsheets, slides and modern research tools (including AI tooling)
Additional Requirements
- 10–20 hours per week during the semester (more during breaks possible)
- Enrolled at a university for the entire duration of the engagement
What We Offer
- Direct impact: your work ships to production and is used by real satellite operators
- Work side by side with the founders: short paths, fast decisions, real ownership
- Flexible hours built around lectures and exam phases (for student roles)
- Office in Bremen, Europe’s City of Space, in the heart of a dense aerospace ecosystem, with hybrid options
