We are seeking a dynamic Key Account & Contract Manager to drive business growth and manage strategic customer relationships for our cutting-edge space collision avoidance technology. This role combines strategic account management with comprehensive contract oversight, requiring expertise in both customer relationship building and commercial contract administration in the space industry.

Key Responsibilities

Account Management & Customer Relations

  • Act as primary point of contact for strategic enterprise customers in the space and satellite industry
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients including satellite operators, space agencies, and commercial space companies
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue growth and customer retention
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and expand service offerings
  • Provide exceptional customer service and serve as trusted advisor on collision avoidance solutions

Contract Management & Administration

  • Manage full contract lifecycle from proposal development through negotiation, execution, and closeout
  • Negotiate commercial and government contracts, including NDAs, service agreements, and partnership contracts
  • Ensure compliance with space industry regulations, export controls (ITAR), and international space law
  • Review and interpret contract terms, conditions, and technical requirements
  • Coordinate with legal, engineering, and program management teams for contract fulfillment

Business Development & Sales Support

  • Support proposal preparation and bid processes for space industry opportunities
  • Collaborate with technical teams to translate customer requirements into technical solutions
  • Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events
  • Develop market intelligence on space industry trends and competitor activities

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Aerospace, or related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in account management or contract management
  • Proven experience in the space, satellite, or aerospace industry preferred
  • Experience with government and commercial contract administration

Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of space industry regulations and standards
  • Knowledge of collision avoidance systems, satellite operations, or space technology advantageous
  • Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office Suite
  • Understanding of AI/ML applications in space technology is a plus
